Introducing AWS Coding Plugin for SAP ABAP, powered by Kiro

Enterprise developers writing SAP ABAP code must implement and transform business logic in a complex, integrated system. To address this challenge, ABAP developers need AI coding tools centered on solving business requirements, in a collaboration between the agent and the developer. Spec-driven development (SDD) is a disciplined methodology that puts business requirements first. In 2025, Kiro brought (SDD) to the developer community for a structured approach to agentic development. Today, we are excited to release AWS Coding Plugin for SAP ABAP, powered by Kiro, to help customers use SDD in Eclipse, alongside SAP’s ABAP Development Tools (ADT).
